ThaiFex-Word of Food Asia 2008,thrill to Thailand's grandest food exposition of the year featuring the very best in food products and services in as many as 2,000 booths.The Department of Export Promotion(DEP)the Thai Chamber of Commerce(TCC) and German event organizer Koelnmesse,have once again joined forces to ensure the upcoming THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2008 will be yet another significant force that help steer Thailand to become the exhibiting hub for food innovations,technologies and services in Asia.The event promise to dazzle international visitors with as many as over 2,000 booths manned by leading food entrepreneurs from Thailand and beyond.This year's THAIFEX event is also expected to generate as much as over 2 Billion Baht (USD62.5 Million)worth of total income for the Thai Food Industry.The THAIFEX-World of food Asia 2008 is scheduled to take place from today until May 25th,2008 at the Challenger 2-3 Impact Muang Thong Thani.The first three days will be for trade negotiations,and the last two days,May 24-25,will be open for public retailing.
