The Importance of Microwave Cooking

Microwave cooking is a fast, simple and hygienic way of cooking. It will retain food's original flavor, and freshness. Only if you follow our recipes closely, you will be ensured of success in turning out a delicious recipe.

If you are a beginner, do not cook food on long timing to avoid over-cooking.

Cooking time and food quantity should be in proportion. When cooking large portion of food, stir the food at short intervals to allow even cooking.

To avoid food dehydration, cover the food while cooking. Food marinated with cornflour (e.g. meat, prawns) should have oil added to avoid sticking in a lump. Because microwave cooking is faster than the conventional, it is important to marinate food properly to ensure proper seasoning.

When soup needs thickening, add corn flour with a little water into the boiling soup and stir briskly till it turns translucent. If the soup quantity is more than you need, prolong boiling period to evaporate extra moisture.
When using microwave oven to boil soup, there is no need to add in water again if seasoning or stock is added to the soup.

Microwave cooking is most effective for food up to a maximum of 1 inches thick. To ensure even cooking, spread your food evenly with harder-to-cook part at the top.

If food is not cooked or not tender enough, do not uncover or unwrap the food, but let it simmer for a while.
When cooking hard stem vegetables, place the vegetables in a criss-cross position.

Once when the microwave oven door opens, the microwave will cut off automatically. To continue cooking them, you have to start oven by pressing the button again.
